http://secunia.com/advisories/39024/

DESCRIPTION:
MustLive has reported some vulnerabilities in the VXDate component
for Joomla, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL
injection and cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed via the "id" parameter to index.php (when "option"
is set to "com_vxdate", "md" is set to "details", and "ct" is set) is
not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL queries. This can
be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL
code.

2) Input passed via the "id" parameter to index.php (when "option" is
set to "com_vxdate", "md" is set to "details" or "editform", and "ct"
is set) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user.
This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a
user's browser session in context of an affected site.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
